What is the Opportunity Class (OC)?
- A program in NSW government schools for academically gifted students in Years 5 and 6.
- Provides a stimulating educational environment for higher learning.
- Students sit the OC Placement Test in Year 4, usually in early May.
Entry is based on:
- English (Reading Comprehension)
- Mathematics
- Thinking Skills
- School’s assessment of performance in Year 3 and 4 (including NAPLAN).
