- How long are the sessions?
Small Group lessons are for 2 hour session with Mindfulness intervals incorporated in sessions. One-on-one lessons are for 60 minutes. We also offer 1 hour free homework sessions.
- How do you assess my child’s needs?
We begin with an initial consultation and assessment to identify strengths, gaps, and goals. From there, we create a personalized learning plan.
- How do I track my child’s progress?
We provide regular updates and progress reports. You’ll also have the opportunity to speak with our Head Teacher to discuss achievements and next steps.
- Do you offer tutoring during school holidays?
Yes! We run holiday programs and catch-up sessions during school breaks to keep learning on track in a relaxed and fun environment. Our students get discount for the Holiday Packages.

- What is the Selective School Test?
The Selective School Test is a competitive entrance exam for academically gifted students applying for selective high schools. It typically includes Reading, Mathematical Reasoning, Thinking Skills, and Writing.
- What year level should my child be in to start preparing?
Most students begin preparation in Year 4 or Year 5, with the test usually taken in Year 6 for Year 7 entry.

- Do you offer trial classes or assessments?

- When should we start preparing?
The earlier, the better. Starting in Year 4 or early Year 5 allows for gradual skill-building without pressure, but we also offer accelerated programs for late starters.
- What is an Opportunity Class (OC)?
Opportunity Classes are for academically gifted Year 5 and 6 students. They offer enriched learning environments within select NSW public schools. Entry is based on a competitive placement test in Year 4.
- When is the OC Placement Test held?
The test is usually held in Term 2 of Year 4, and students apply in Term 1 of the same year.
- What does the OC test include?
The test consists of three parts:
- Reading
- Mathematical reasoning
- Thinking skills
There is no writing section. The questions are multiple choice and test problem-solving and critical thinking.
- What year should my child start preparing?

It is definitely worth it not just because of the ranking and the academic results but also for the like-minded peers they will have in these school. Most students are education-oriented and quite serious when it comes to their studies. Most of them continue to undertake university degrees.
- How do I prepare my child for selective school?
Preparation for the selective test starts early. Many parents start when their children in year 3 or year 4. The test is in term 1 year 6. Preparation usually is done in a tutoring centre. Practice tests do not work by themselves. Students need to learn and be taught and understand. The test is becoming less predictable every year so practice tests are not very effective.
