Dr Majeda Awawdeh

Dr Majeda Awawdeh is the founder of Global Education Academy, Australia’s only research-based learning centre. With a passion for transforming education through science-backed methods, Dr Majeda has dedicated her career to improving how students learn, retain, and excel—especially in mathematics and high-stakes assessments.

She has completed a PhD in Mathematics Education at the University of New South Wales, where she focused on Cognitive Load Theory. Her academic journey began at the University of Haifa.

Dr Majeda also holds extensive knowledge and experience in large-scale educational assessments including ICAS, NAPLAN, Selective School Tests, Scholarships, and the GAT assessments. She managed ICAS Mathematics for many years, bringing deep insight into test design, data interpretation, and student success strategies.
